Service for Avon Police for National Night Out Against Crime at Avon Lowes Parking Lot

 

This Tuesday, instead of meeting at the Scout Hut, we will be supporting our local Avon Police by volunteering at the "National Night Out Against Crime" event at the Avon Lowes, 7893 E US Hwy 36 Avon, IN 46123. 

 

There will be a number of attractions including a rock wall, gyroscope, dunk booth, bounce house, and a euro-bungy apparatus. Our scouts would be assisting with helping guests get strapped in to the relevant harnesses, entering/exiting a bounce house, and overseeing the line in which people will wait in for their opportunity at the event.  The vendor who is facilitating these attractions will have designated employees at each location, but they will need volunteer assistance to keep things moving more quickly throughout the event.

 

 

If you can not attend at 3:30, please still stop by and help when you can.  We will need more scouts (and adults) as the crowd increase over the evening.
