Fellow Troop 306 Scouts, Scouters, and Parents,
On Sunday August 5th at noon, I will be finishing my Eagle project at the Outdoor Learning Center (OLC) in Avon. My project is to create a compost bin for the OLC. This will allow the OLC to teach the benefits of utilizing renewable resources. Many of you who attend Avon schools have benefited from the OLC 'outdoor classroom'. It is my hope that my Eagle project will add additional value to the OLC and the hundreds of students who use it each year.
If you are able to assist in creating this for the OLC on August 5th at noon please sign up on the troop website. We will need some shovels and hammers to get the job done. I would advise bringing a pair of work gloves as well.
