  9. Fire-by-Friction Set and firebuilding materials (bird's nest, foil, etc.)
  10.  Medical Form

The Ritual fee is $45, payable when you arrive. The Ritual fee includes insignia, certification, a picture of your Ritual Class and membership fees dues until age 21, and all meals except breakfast on Saturday. You will be given the opportunity to shower, so you may bring anything necessary for a shower if you wish.  DO NOT BRING fire-making materials like (matches, lighters, etc), a watch, an alarm clock, or a radio. Bringing any of these items may result in DISQUALIFICATION from the Ritual. You are responsible for what you bring, so make sure everything has your name on it.

If you have any questions, you may contact either of us at the contact information below.  If you need any special accommodations or have a concern with anything listed above, please don’t hesitate to contact us as well. In addition, if you CANNOT attend either of this year’s rituals, let us know and we will help you get rescheduled.

Review your Handbook, practice your Scouting skills, and hone your Fire-by Friction abilities. During the course of the Ritual, you will be tested in all areas of Scouting.  On behalf of the Firecrafter Council Committee, we would like to wish you the best of luck as you prepare for the Ritual. However, luck is an elusive element. It is only by DOING YOUR VERY BEST that can you hope to successfully meet the challenges before you. It is toward this goal we encourage you. Keep your set dry, your mind alert, and your heart true.
