Family Adventure Trip at Gettysburg and Washington DC

We will travel in car pools and camp at local state parks.  All camping in primitive with shower facilities available near group camp area.  The past trips have been very pleasent with clean bath and shower houses.

Schedule

• Sat - Travel from Avon to Washington DC
• Wed - Travel from Washington DC to Gettysburg
• Sat - Travel from Gettysburg to Avon, IN

General Notes

• Meet at Avon Middle School South (7199 E US Hwy 36) to leave around 6:00 AM
• Tuesday is our Capital Tour at 11:45 AM and meeting Joe Donnelly at 1:15 PM
• Each day be back at the camp site by 6:00 PM
• Washington DC on Saturday - Wednesday
• Gettysburg from Wednesday - Saturday
• No Mess Kits needed
• Don’t forget a camp chair
• Weather looks good next week, only day of projected rain is Wednesday, which will be our travel day from DC to Gettysburg.
