Troop 306 is heading to the Boy Scout Fall Camporee, and would like to extend an invitation to all Webelos and their parents. This is a great time to be involved with a Boy Scout troop and experience a camporee. Our troop will take care of most needed equipment, like tents, food and kitchen supplies.
You just bring your Webelos Scouts, a few parents, sleeping bags, water bottles, and a mind ready for Scouting adventure from 1907... WAIT... 1907?
This year's Fall Camporee's theme is "Brownsea Island", where the first Boy Scout camp was conducted in 1907 by Lord Baden-Powell. Our troop and many in Hou Koda are going out and to live our BSA history by experiencing a recreation of what the first scout camp was like and how it has shaped our youth for over 100 years. It will be fun and games with a historical flare that will excite your imagination!
